On the morning of February 1, 2019, Cyntra Denise Scott transitioned into the spiritual realm at the age of 46 in Lanham, MD. Cyntra was born to Dominique Scott and Clifton Scott (deceased) on November 11, 1972 in Chicago, IL.
A proud member of the Mensa Society, Cyntra dedicated her brilliance to advancing the planet through educating the children of her African American community, as well as to bringing greater awareness to Sickle Cell Disease, through her role as Vice President of Inspiring More Minds, Inc. She was most passionate about writing, be it an email, letter or published article.
She is survived by her mother, Dominique; sisters, Bronwyn, Eleanor & Tishona; her goddaughters, Danaisha & Maya; a great uncle, Roy & great aunt, Lois; aunts, Bronwyn, Shilah, Janeen, Ingrid, Tanya & Nanci; uncles, Stanley & Courtenay; cousins, Michael E., Kamala, Courtland, Angela, Michael S., Stanley, Marty, Paige, Philip, Shomari, Raymond, Kristian, Kaiya, Phelan, Avrielle, Darius, Lydia & Amen; many loving cousins in Chicago; a godfather, Uncle Workman; dear friends; and a cat, Apple.
She will be forever remembered for her encouraging light, loving friendship and edifying wisdom.
